ALDI Australia 17+

The Aldi Australia app is fine if you want to look at the catalog and see what special buys are available, coming, or late/not available.

The shopping list function seems to me pointless as. It doesn’t search for products to add to your list with the Aldi price. Surely, given Aldi makes a big deal of its narrow range, it can’t be that hard to include an inventory of normal products for a selected store in the app.

Or maybe the function is there but I just can’t find it (which in itself would be an issue).

First up, Orffyre, you are either an employee or have a different App to every one else. I have been trying to work out how best to use this App. for the past 4 years, without success. I totally agree with all the other zero or 1 star Aldi customers.
Aldi I like to shop at your Raymond Terrace, New South Wales store, I like your products, their quality and value for money.
However I like many other shoppers prefer to shop using a per prepared list and knowing that when I shop I know if an item is available and if not, there is a suitable alternative.
I have no special interest in the majority of your “ Special Buys“. however I do look at them. And if there is something of interest I will check it out.
You have set up in competitors with the big two Supermarket chains in Australia. With the advent of other chains beginning to gain a footing I would think that at least a useful and appropriate App. which offers the A average shopper the information to make an informed choice when grocery shopping.

You would think to stay competitive with other supermarkets at the very least you could view Aldi’s entire product range on the app/website and be able to build yourself a shopping list and know the total cost of your shop before you go in. Their whole marketing platform is about comparing the prices and quality of their brands to name brands sold by major supermarkets yet you can’t even sit in the comfort of your own home and do your research and compare prices. I’m not asking for online shopping Aldi just the ability to easily search for your products on the app/website instead of having to go in and out of categories and be able to make a shopping list and compare prices/products.
